Rituals — weekly or yearly — make time sacred.

Put the phone away.
Be fully there.

That’s the real gift.

Three big milestones in three months:

Sold my business.
Our daughter got engaged.
Our son finished school.

Grateful — and busy.

One thing kept me steady: a weekly pause from tech.

Amazing what a single day offline can do.

Media has changed — and it’s not going back.

We used to choose what to read; now it chooses us.

We hunted for content; now the algorithm hunts for us.

Bite-sized clips, endless swipes, scattered attention.

We’ve lost the pause that gave us perspective.
Time to take it back.

Why is every platform now 9:16? Because the medium dictates how we communicate — and how we think.

McLuhan called it: “The medium is the message.”

Today the message is built for scroll, not meaning.

Maybe the only way to reclaim agency… is to pause.
